SOS Excel Scholars Performing at SCLC Ceremony

Mission Statement

Since the laws of our world are bound to universal laws of Math and Science, SOS Excel is designed to help children understand the language that explains these laws. We utilize this knowledge to generate positive action toward understanding how our society operates in a Mathematic and Scientific way. This will ensure positive and productive citizens as we progress in this Information Age with sound morals and communal well-being.

About SOS Excel

SOS Excel is a supplemental educational services program established to generate interest and proficiency in Math, Science and Financial Literacy. SOS operates as a non profit 501 (c) (3) status organization dedicated to helping youth in the Cleveland municipal district and surrounding metropolitan areas.
SOS Excel will provide services to aid them in those subject areas every 1st-3rd Saturday during the academic school year.
Emmanuel Baptist Church has adopted Bolton Elementary school as a community project led by the "Sisters Loving Sisters" women’s group. Currently, they are providing educational supplies, personal items, clothing and miscellaneous items.
SOS Excel will offer opportunities, both tutoring and class instruction, in Math, Science, Financial Literacy, Computer Literacy, Black History and Reading. The goal of the program will be to enroll at least 50 students.

We ask that each donation is $10 per child to cover the cost for this service.

This site is constantly under construction, so please come back to see how we grow and diversify!

Diversity is an asset. We teach students that diversity of race, national origin, religion, language, gender, economic status, disability, family structure, and values enriches our community. At SOS, students grow up learning appreciation and tolerance for all people. This appreciation and tolerance for diversity will open doors to living a healthy, productive life in a pluralist society.
